Montreal in 5.
...cripes, that was a tight one! But my team won, so I'm happy.

GAMES: INCORRECT
SUCCESS: 50%
#2 PITTSBURGH vs #7 OTTAWA

Joy of Victory
Last night, my beloved Montreal Canadiens finally did what they should've done about two games ago and they sent the Boston Bruins packing their gear and off to the nearest golf course. Weekend Update: The Understudy Did Me In
Well, a lot has happened this week. Let's hit the important issues:
- My car lives! $1700 later, it lives. I finally got it back Tuesday evening. I hope it can still last a few more years. I mean, it's acting fine - but now I'm worried my sound system is starting to go. It's not the most important thing, of course, but I likes me tunes.

2008 STANLEY CUP PLAYOFF PREDICTIONS
Every year I do this, just to see how awesome I am. This is the most pumped I've been for a long time, because I'm rooting for a team that is actually pretty thoroughly solid right now.
Let's see how I predict things will go, in Round 1 and beyond.

Snowbody's Perfect!
It started to snow again, today.
Now, I know plenty of you out there are thinking, "Dude, that dude lives up in Canada, dude, so why is snow a surprise? Dude..." Well yes, that's true. Mascots and Masochism
This morning, the three mascots for the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics were released. You can see them all here. All I can say is - hmmm. They're definitely cute and very anime-styled, and that doesn't bother me - but the fact that two of the three mascots are hybrids (a bear/killer whale and a whale/thunderbird/wooly-thing) is kinda lame.
